Research Interests

Alexandru is a 4th year PhD student in Physiscs and a member of the NLMC group for 8 years. His research interest was towards the synthesis and biofunctionalization of core-shell gold-silver nanoparticles, while lately it shifted to the synthesis of fluorescence self-emiting gold nanoclusters for real-time image-guided surgery of ovarian cancer.
